Great Metro-North Escape NY Ride: Haverstraw over Bear Mountain to Croton-Harmon

Months behind in posting some great rides…. Death Valley, the Climate Ride and some spectacular routes going out of NY. In the interim, here is a good ride that uses the Metro-North trains in and out of Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan.

This particular route is best done on a weekday, since the ferry from Ossining to Haverstraw only runs Monday-Friday. The description of the ride is on “Ridewithgps”
